About the event

Phil is a fabulous singer/songwriter from the Blue Mountains. He is an incredible writer and performer with amazing songs and stories and his ability to engage on a heart level is something to see.

Phil has garnered much radio airplay here in Australia and his native Northern Ireland where he is as well known on the BBC as he is here on the ABC in Australia. Phil is popular with the ABC audiences thru his work on TGIF with Richard Glover and is well connected to ABC having been signed to ABC/Universal Music.

His songs and music have a wonderful self effacing honesty and humour and will often move audiences from tears to joyous laughter. His songs range from Celtic inspired melodic, to folk and Gospel flavoured.

Seeing Phil play live is where his real strength lies as he takes his audience on his journey thru song and stories. From his autobiographical 'Belfast Boy' to his most recent release "Out Of The Dark'. Phil's songs dig deep into the heart, where there is hope and light and some good Northern Irish humour.

Phil has recorded many albums of his own songs over the years and is currently releasing a collection of new songs in 2023 reflecting on the Covid era and looking towards the future with optimism, especially for live music.

We think Phil’s music, drawing potential through the ABC, and performance would be a wonderful asset to any tour and festival. His music deserves to be heard on a huge scale and we are committed to helping the world hear about the amazing Phil Davidson.
